Testing and Assessments FAQs
What tests will my child be required to take?
All Alabama Destinations Career Academy (ALDCA) students are required to take the following tests:
- Course lesson assessments
- Course unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- Diagnostic and formative assessments to measure growth and mastery of grade-level standards at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year
Will my child have to participate in state testing?
Yes. All students enrolled in ALDCA are required to participate in all district and state testing. This is mandatory and required by Alabama statute.
