Alabama Destinations Career Academy (ALDCA) believes in finding new ways of learning that work for all kinds of students. That’s why we use the K12 curriculum. It was created by an experienced team of educators using proven instructional approaches.
At the middle school level, students take courses in the core subjects listed below. They also take self-guided electives in music and world languages.

Career and College Prep at ALDCA
Middle school students can gain a competitive edge for the future—whether that includes college, a career, or both. While taking middle school career exploratory courses, students can connect with industry professionals through live, online sessions. Students can also take advantage of field trips and career club involvement. Students take a career interest survey and work with their school counselor on college and career planning.
*The K12 6–8 course descriptions are a complete list of the 6–8 courses that K12 provides. While ALDCA offers a comprehensive selection of courses, not every K12 6–8 course is available to ALDCA students. Information on specific courses is provided upon enrollment. For details, please ask your Personal Admissions Liaison (PAL) during the enrollment process.
